OUR TEAM
MONICA
KOUDSTAAL
As one of the fournders of the Junior Dutch Open Foundation, I’m associated with the JDO as the chairman. The goal of our organization is to create an international tournament for youth under the age of 26, while being a part of the EBT Youth and co-operating with the USAAI, where every single one of our participants is given the opportunity to develop themselves as sportsmen, but as individuals as well. I’m proud I’m able to support that.
RENÉ
LOOMANS
As of 2023 I am the treasurer of the Junior Dutch Open Foundation.
I started as volunteer in 2022 as score keeper.
Being part of this foundation gives me great pleasure, because I get to see youth having a great time bowling.
It is very nice to see everyone competing in an international tournament.
By keeping an eye on finance I hope to contribute to keep this foundation healthy, so we will be able to continue for many years.
MARTINE
MARIJT
I am Martine Marijt and I am 48 years.
I am the mother of young senior bowler Jean-Luc Marijt (2003), through him I came in contact with the sport of bowling. His trainer was Monica. By occasionally helping at a training I first came into contact with the Dutch Scorpions a youth training group and part of the Foundation after which I was asked to help at the Junior Dutch Open. Have been the secretary since 2023 and closely involved with Junior Dutch Open Foundation. During the tournaments I take care of my fellow volunteers in terms of food and beverage. We have a nice team and I enjoy all the youth bowlers from Europe and the World who come to play with us.
OMA
GRANDMA
I’m a volunteer because I love being in touch with youth and the sport of bowling. I’ve been involving myself with the bowlingsport for many years as a volunteer but as a sponsor as well. Within the Junior Dutch Open I’m responsible for the raffles. It gives me a great amount of pleasure to see how friendships for life get formed through the JDO and its participants.

MARIJT

JIMMINK
I started volunteering with my wife after, in addition to bowling myself, I enjoy helping other beginner and slightly advanced bowlers get better at bowling and get excited about the sport.
It is also a good way to get in touch with other people who share the same interests, carry the sport and any friendships that develop as a result.
We work together as a team which creates a sense of belonging and satisfaction when the tournament goes well.
The nice thing about tournament coaching is: seeing the progress of the youth players, playing better and better, becoming champions and enjoying the sport.
At our international tournament it is nice to meet foreign bowlers their parents and coaches and the coaching staff beautiful friendships are created because of this.
