AEDCompleet.nl stands for a Netherlands in which everyone can be helped within three minutes of cardiac arrest with an accessible, affordable and reliable AED. We believe that good AED care should not be a luxury, but an essential provision for individuals, associations and companies. Our mission: AEDs must be better known, more accessible and fairly priced.
Their conviction arose after a dramatic event in 2018, when owner and founder Stef Hordijk, then an 18-year-old bystander at a busy station, was the only one who dared to act when someone suffered cardiac arrest.
By quickly starting CPR with an AED, the woman survived – clear proof that time and accessibility make all the difference. This experience formed the base for AEDCompleet.nl, and the desire to improve the AED market and save real lives.
